We will be in person with mask next week. Both KTCs in person with mask. Our numbers are steady locally but areas around us have went up pretty quickly. Please stay vigilant with sanitizer and washing hands. We are in this together.
We have had a staff member at the JH/HS test positive for the Corona virus. Everyone who was in close contact has been notified. If you did not get a call from the Superintendents office today your student is not considered a contact by the Health Department. Thank You for your understanding. We will be as transparent and open as possible with our patrons.
Electric is on. School will be in session Wednesday.
I know many of you are wondering about tomorrow. The last update we had said electric would be restored around 8. Please keep checking the website for updates.
Today is a trial run for unplanned distance learning. We have days banked because of virtual. Our teachers understand many students don't have electricity right now. They will work with your child to make sure they will not miss anything. We have been issuing devices as people apply for them. If you determine you are in need please apply.
We will be distance learning for tomorrow. Please allow a little time in the morning. Some teachers may not have electric to post to Google Classroom.

Just a reminder, the High School Football game scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30th has been moved to Thursday, October 29th. It is still at Weleetka.

The Outdoor Attendance Policy has not changed for this week. Masks are still required entering, going t the concession and bathrooms.

The Savage Store Order form is in the Documents Folder. It is Order Form 2. We will take orders October 19- November 2. Money is due at the time of ordering. There are also a few order forms outside of Ms. J's classroom.

Update on P-EBT cards ✨
After discussing the issue with the SDE we have found out the following information.
Quinton being a CEP school IS NOT a factor.
It is still based off of income eligibility from the Economically Disadvantaged forms filled out during enrollment last year.
Determination on the cards was from the 19/20 school year eligibility guidelines.

We have received multiple calls regarding the issuance of the P-EBT cards.
As a CEP ( community eligibility provision) school, every student as QPS,enrolled in the 19/20 school year from March to May, should have or should receive this card. If you did not, please call the number listed in the attached document.
How were kids names given?
The State Dept of Ed pulls information directly from our system for reporting/funding purposes and this is also where they would have gotten names and addresses from. Quinton Public Schools did not send out a list with student information.
How much should be on the card?
Amount went off the students attendance during a certain time period.
