Friday night the Quinton Savages will be hosting the Arkoma Mustangs in playoffs. Kick off will be at 7. Gates will open at 5:45. The cost of admission is $7 per person. Only OSSAA playoff passes will be accepted. Mask protocols are still in effect.

Parents don't forget tomorrow is the last day of in person instruction before the break.if your child will not be there please let their teacher know so they can assign google classroom work. Please enjoy the break and most importantly please be safe.

To the fans who were at the JH Basketball games tonight:
We would like to say "Thank You" for cooperating with the mask policy. We enjoy having fans at the game and you helped to keep that continuing.

An updated JH Basketball Schedule is in the Documents Tab>2020-21 School Year>Athletics

Don't forget, tomorrow starts JH Basketball. Our indoor policy is in the documents folder. You will be required to wear a mask while in the EC. We will be at Level 1 asong as we get cooperation with this policy.

Parents of students in grades 7-12:
This is just a reminder that your student needs to start bringing their device (laptop, chromebook, tablet) to school every day. They will be using this like they would a textbook. If you need a device checked out, you need to have all applications turned in by this week. If you have questions, please contact the High School Office.

Due to unforseen circumstances, the Speech Department is having to postpone their play. We will post when the new dates have been set.

We will be in person with mask next week. Both KTC's in person with mask. Numbers are going up everywhere. Please use those masks, wash hands frequently and use hand sanitizer. We are in it together.

Just a reminder, the Speech and Drama Department will be performing Café Murder on Monday, Nov. 16 at 6:30. Masks are required in the Auditorium throughout the performance and social distancing is encouraged.

Our indoor activity ( basketball) protocols have been posted. Let me first say this. We want our students to be able to have as much of a normal season as possible. We want our fans to be able to come and watch. We will try to stay at Level 1 if at all possible. We are asking you as fans to help us. If fans will follow these protocols ( especially the mask requirement) it will greatly help us to stay at Level 1. If protocols are followed the only reason we would go to Level 2 would be due to changing rates of illness. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Let's all work together for the sake of these students.

The Indoor Activity Policy is posted in the Documents Folder>2020-21 School Year>Athletics.

The updated calendar will be on the website shortly.

Parents and Guardians of Quinton Students. We approved some calendar changes. We will change Thursday, November 19 to a virtual day. Our Thanksgiving Break will run from November 20 through December 4. Students will return on December 7. Our Christmas Break will run December 18 through January 8. Students will return on January 11. The reason we are extending these breaks are to allow us to hopefully avoid an increase in illnesses due to travel. These young people need as much normalcy as possible. Travel to and from relatives for the Holidays is a long standing tradition in many families. We want to students to be able to keep those traditions. These extensions will allow people to travel and not have to worry. These are days we will not have to go Distance Learning or Virtual. These are days we built with our Virtual Fridays.

An updated school calendar has been attached in the documents tab under
20/21 school year>District
There have been changes made to virtual days and upcoming breaks.

Parents and Guardians of Quinton students. If there is a reason you have not applied for a device please contact us. Hopefully we will be able to answer questions and concerns. We are trying to make sure all students will have the same opportunities to access information and assignments. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

We are still planning on honoring our Veteran heroes on Wednesday. However, we have decided we will do our program virtually. This is the safest way for our students, staff and community to show our great appreciation for those people who did so much for us. We will be filming class presentations and we will put the program on our website for your viewing convenience. Please remember to thank these people not only on Wednesday but every day. Our veterans are true" American Heroes".

We will be in person with masks next week. Both KTC's will be in person with masks. Numbers have went up locally, especially in areas around us. Please keep washing hands and using sanitizer. We are all in this together.

The Drama Department will be presenting Cafe Murder on Nov. 16 and 19 at 6:30 in the EC Auditorium. Masks are required for theater attendees. We hope to see you there.
