Attention Parents, Guardians & Students. We will be in -person instruction effective Monday, August 24. Our county is Orange so masks will be required for grades 4-12 and all staff. Grades below 4th strongly encouraged. All normal safety protocols will be followed including temp checks etc. Parents here is where we need your help. If you have a child that is ill don't send them or any siblings in the same home until you can rule out Covid. Also we have received our shipment of PPE from the state. Monday we will hand out 2 reusable masks for every in-person student. Lets all work together to provide the best education for these students we possibly can.

ATTENTION; Quinton Parents with Children Riding a Bus. According to the policies adopted by the Quinton Board of Education, students will be temperature checked before entering the bus each morning. if your child's temperature is 100 or over, she/he WILL NOT be allowed on the bus. You MUST have a plan for your child/children in the event they exceed the temperature threshold. Again she/he will not be allowed on the bus or at school. This procedure allows us to keep the school and buses as safe as possible for all students and staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

💚🤍🖤 IT IS ENROLLMENT TIME for PRE-K THROUGH 12TH GRADE! Instead of those dreaded 30 page packets that give you hand cramps, all enrollment will be online for the 20/21 school year! 👏🏽 Here are a few important details as we start the process. We will open up enrollment for pre-k through 8th grade tomorrow. 9-12 will be opened up on Thursday. 1. You will receive an activation email(this will be sent to the email you provided last year during enrollment). 2. Once you receive the email, it will ask you for an activation code provided by the district. Contact the front office to get this code. Tina Williams at twilliams@quintonschools.com 469-3309 or efloyd@quintonschools.com or 469-3313. (This helps us keep track of who has and hasn’t enrolled) *** ***If you are enrolling an existing student, please be sure to choose that option at the beginning. You will not want to enroll a “new student”. New students will need to meet with the front office with the following documents before they will be able to enroll. a) proof of residency b) birth cerificate c) immunization record d) any other court documents 3. There are several forms uploaded, but not all are required for every student to fill out. ***Keep the following in mind as enrolling*** a) corporal punishment forms will only need to be filled out for pk-6th grade. b) All athletes 3-12 grade will be required to fill out the concussion, cardiac arrest and medical release forms. c) athletes 7-12 will be required to fill out drug testing consent. d) Indian Ed students will need to fill out the 506 form and the JOM needs assessment page. e) the “return to school” plan and handbook signature pages will need to be signed after reading both on the school website with your student. f) alternative education, concurrent forms, ACT, and virtual will only need to be filled out if your child will be enrolling in any of those programs. Office hours are 9-1 Monday through Thursday for any questions you might have. Please be patient as many parents are calling to get access to their child’s enrollment. WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER!!
